- Following the CCVI qualitative validation, Droughts are now captured as 'SPEI in the past 12 months' and Accumulated Droughts as 'Mean of negative annual SPEI in the past 7 years'
- Droughts are now derived from ERA5-Drought-ECMWF Climate Reanalysis.
- Indicators in "Accumulated extreme events" dimension are now expressed as annual means over the past 7 years (previously: sum over the past 7 years)
- "Persistence of armed violence" dimension merged as single indicator into “Level of armed violence” dimension
- New “Conflict context” dimension added with two new indicators
- New "Environmental vulnerability" dimension added with five new indicators

- Food insecurity indicator replaced with Hunger indicator focusing on undernourishment only

Feature updates- Due to the dissolution of USAID, FEWS data is no longer available. Food insecurity is now only based on UN SDG indicators.
- Conflict indicators no longer contain additional population-based exposure. Since conflict occurrence and data collection is already correlated with population, conflict data is assumed to have built-in exposure. For more details, refer to the technical documentation.
- Surrounding violence and Surrounding popular unrest now count water as zeros in their calculation.
